Rowena “Weng” Mulingbayan-Garcia
Rowena Mulingbayan- Garcia, also known as WENG has been hosting weddings and special events for over a decade now. She started hosting events at age 15.
She also started organizing special events during her college days at De La Salle University- College of Saint Benilde for several organizations in and outside the campus and eventually ventured into weddings & social events. She founded Events Manila- the Special Occasions Company- and is a full-time wedding & special events planner and special events host.
After hosting for weddings, corporate parties, product launches, beauty pageants, special occasions- even a beach bikini open- and doing voice over for special shows, she found that she truly enjoyed hosting weddings and social events the most.
Today, she’s a sought after event host and is regularly at wedding receptions and special functions around Metro Manila, Tagaytay, Baguio, Boracay and other popular wedding and special event destinations.
It is her pleasure and joy to host regularly for the top wedding and special events caterers. She hosts an average of twenty to thirty events a month.
Besides being well-known for her clear command of the English and Filipino language- she continuously comes up with great ideas for each event which makes it unique and truly an enjoyable experience for the celebrant and guests as well. People easily warm up to her because she is endearing and makes the guests feel welcome and at ease.
